Lanegan’s set will feature tracks from his new covers record ‘Imitations’, which was released on 16th September 2013 and suitably includes his take on Nick Caves ‘Brompton Oratory’.

Watch the video for Mark’s brooding and beautiful take on John Cale’s ‘I’m Not The Loving Kind’ in all its cinematic, outsider glory below!

‘Imitations’ critical acclaim:

“A sweet and tender covers album… In the best way there is a broken weariness to his voice, a sense of life lived that offers new meaning to lyrics that weren’t written with a man like him in mind“
Classic Rock, 8/10

“A record of timeless, typically morose joy“
Record Collector ★★★★

“A genuine emotional affinity underpins this marriage between Lanegan’s lupine growl and 12 melodramatic songs of masculine despair… Nick Cave’s ‘Brompton Oratory’, bathed in horns and burnished romance, might trump the original”
Uncut, 7/10

“As ever, Lanegan’s voice is solumn and affecting, emphasising the solumn sentiments of the material”
