The Nectarine No.9 To Perform ‘Saint Jack’ Live in London

The Nectarine No.9 - Saint Jack

In case you hadn’t heard, the next record to get our Forever Heavenly reissue treatment is ‘Saint Jack’ by The Nectarine No.9, a lost classic originally released by Postcard Records in 1995.

The Nectarine No.9 are fronted by Davy Henderson, formerly of The Fire Engines and Win, hailed by Irvine Welsh as “a genius”.

Finally available on vinyl for the first time, our reissue comes out this Friday (27th of November). The physical copies come with bonus material recorded in session for John Peel, as a second disc with the CD version, or for free download (alongside the album) with the LP.

The album is also available digitally.

To celebrate the release, the Nectarine No.9 are making a very special, one-off live appearance at The Lexington on Saturday the 12th of December, where they’ll be performing the album in full.

Support on the night comes from members of British Sea Power (Yan, Noble and Phil The Horn) performing stripped back versions of songs from the BSP vaults.

The band will then provide backing music for a set of bracing poetry from another Forever Heavenly face, Jock Scot, whose ‘My Personal Culloden’ LP was reissued by us a few months ago.

This is not to be missed.
