This Autumn Hooton Tennis Club release their new album ‘Big Box of Chocolates.’ We’re excited to announce the first single from the album ‘Katy-Anne Bellis.’
It’s a brisk yet alluringly heartfelt ode to band member Ryan’s ex-flatmate, Katy-Anne, on which Ryan states: ‘She’d lived in the house for one year and three months. It’s just a mushy song about moving house and staying in touch’.
“Recorded by Edwyn Collins at his studio in the Scottish Highlands, it feels like a natural evolution from the group’s much-loved (in these parts) debut.‘Katy-Anne Bellis’ is a coy, bittersweet ode to a former flat mate, finding the profound in the most humble of circumstance.

The new album ‘Big Box of Chocolates’ is released on Friday October 21st.It was recorded in Helmsdale, Scotland where Edwyn Collins produced the record.
