The Parrots release two videos ahead of the release of their debut album

The Parrots

Ahead of the release of their debut album ‘Los Niños Sin Miedo,’ The Parrots have released two new videos for the singles ‘No Me Gustas, Te Quiero’ & ‘Let’s Do It Again.’

What Youth premiered the video for ‘No Me Gustas, Te Quiero’:

“The Parrots, Madrid’s trio of garage-punk bandits, have been buzzing at the top of our radar for a while now. And today, in an exclusive for What Youth , we’re premiering their new video for “No Me Gustas, Te Quiero”, off their upcoming debut Los Niños Sin Miedo.

Directed and edited by Hache, the video features the band (Diego García, Alex de Lucas and Larry Balboa) wandering through the mesmerizing Chefchaouen region of Morocco, playing futbol, and basically living out our fantasy.”

Nerdist premiered the video for ‘Let’s Do It Again’:

“Their music isn’t simply derivative of a bygone age, though. It’s filled with that modern exuberance that’s given garage rock new life this past decade, as well as the clarion production value that didn’t exist during the first go-round. Plus, they pull off a certain youthful irreverence that’s fresh regardless of era.”

The Parrots debut album ‘Los Niños Sin Miedo’ is due out on Friday August 26th. Album pre-orders and track listing can be found here.

“Los Niños Sin Miedo’ is the sort of record that bursts through the door, noisily hurls its component parts around and then exits almost as abruptly as it enters…a racket in the best possible way.“
★★★★ Q Magazine

“Madrid’s The Parrots invoke a woozy, enthralling chaos that’s imbued with a golden, sun-blushed charm.”
★★★★ Mojo Magazine

“The album was recorded in a week, and sounds alive and vital for it – you feel like the band is a proper gang, naughtiness drips from every last note, and there’s the feeling something unsavoury-yet-fun might be going on yards from the microphone.”
★★★★ Shindig Magazine

“It may have been made by Madrilenos in the southwestern city of Cadiz, but ‘Los Ninos Sin Miedo’ can transport you far further than Spain, whisked away to the rock ‘n’ roll tropics.”
★★★★ DIY Magazine

“On this debut, The Parrots make a claim to be the scene’s slacker kings.”
