LISTEN TOBEEHIVEHERE:

“Compared to the wizened post-blues that Lanegan usually makes these days, this one is a relatively straightforward riff-rocker, one with a huge melody that recalls Lanegan’s Screaming Trees days. It’s also a grand and catchy and anthemic rock song, the type they don’t make very often anymore. I very much recommend clicking play below.”
Stereogum

“The track opens with a swarm of guitars getting increasingly closer before some snapping drumming breaks it up into a forward march. With the music rising and falling like honeybees dipping in the wind, Lanegan sings in his low grumble of a voice, “Scenes of dying love/ In my head buzzes a bee’s nest/ Hanging down from above/ Everywhere I look it’s a bummer.”
Consequence of Sound

“The lead single is “Beehive,” whose deadpan psychedelia is sneakily addictive.”
