The 405 have premiered a video of their belter of a track Head On/Pil:
Earning themselves some well deserved hype, it’s their live sets that will truly blow you away. Luckily for us one of their performances in London last month was captured by Soundyoucansee, as part of their ‘Live at The Shacklewell’ series.
With just one song and close to twenty minutes of mapped out madness, this clip shows just how captivating these seven Aussies are. — The 405
The bands new record “I’m In Your Mind Fuzz’ reached great critical acclaim:
“They’re too willfully mad to emulate Tame Impala’s success, but if you’re after freaking out, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard’s outrageous noise deserves attention.“
9/10 NME Magazine
“As bonkers as their name…brilliant and thrilling“
“They’re at their most exciting when they drone, but not in the mid-paced , two-chord way of so much modern psychedelia: their drone is played at Ramones pace, with Keith Moon fills from the two drummers, and thus the opening four tracks here meld into one 13-minute sprint through the inner wardrobes of your mind.“
The Guardian, ★★★★
“Throughout this album’s viscerally thrilling, and expertly motif-filled. As such, it rates amongst the best three or four post-millenial psychedelic rock records.“
MOJO , ★★★★
“The band’s fourth album in two years comes with no warnings, and no regulations. I’m In Your Mind Fuzz is the full trip, complete with full on acid-soaked head-rush interspersed with momentary doses of bliss.“
The Line Of Best Fit , Album of The Week
The Voyeurs have a new Kenichi Iwasa directed video for their brand new single ‘Stunners.’
“Much like the song, the music video—directed by Kenichi Iwasa—captures this type of music at its finest moment; in a dark club, fog everywhere, with a simplistic psychedelic light show going on in the background.” Death & Taxes
“The glam-rock track, named after a now-defunct East London transvestite nightclub located parallel to the recording studio, is a step forward in reimagining the band’s sound.” — Death & Taxes.
“Stunners is a glam-rock stomp of sexual ambiguity for girls who like boys who like girls to be boys.” — NME Magazine
‘Stunners’ is the first single to be lifted from the bands forthcoming album, ‘Rhubarb Rhubarb’ which is out on Heavenly on Monday 10th November.
‘Stunners’ is due to be released as a limited 7″ with the B-side Orgy #2 on Monday 3rd November.
